He's in disguise

So I bring up to Mr. Red he’s breaking one of the few rules I have (and yes he’s agreed to this).

The rule is: No Transformers in the bedroom. I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night and have them staring at me.

Today during dinner I made a comment about the Transformers sitting on the dresser.

Mr. Red: He’s a car, he’s in disguise.

At that point we both lost it, loudly. What am I supposed to say to that?

I think I made a very good argument! It can't stare at you if it's just a big yellow Camaro.

The other three Transformers are just little tiny ones, less than three inches tall. Can't even see their eyes. And they don't stand up very well, so not too menacing.

Oh, you mean the big blue and white and gold one? He's OK. 1) He's not looking at the bed, he's guarding the bathroom. 2) He's a Gundam, not a Transformer.

Totally different.

Really.

Why are you staring at me like that?
